Lol.complaining?. you? never!!I wondered if the debates having raised the profile of the Lib Dems would make any difference, but we\’re still a two party system,….actually, it\’s gonna be a knitted together system for a while (knit one,. pearl one, drop one? Never ever got the hang of knitting!!) ….lets see what happens next!!!# xx#

I agree PF…people fought and died so that we could all have the vote, and have our say. If they don\’t bother to vote, shut up!Underwhelmed is a bit of an understatement, Mike…! We got leaflets shoved through the door by the main two, but I saw no-one out actually canvassing, and when we went to make our mark we were given two big pieces of paper full of names and parties…! Who the heck were all these people that we had never heard of…?!!!Suffice it to say, I did NOT vote Labour!!
I vote for many reasons…1 – I\’m proud to be a citizen in a country with the right to vote.2 – By voting, even for an underdog, I show that someone is listening.3 – I care. 4 – It makes me feel important; like my thoughts, emotions, and needs matter5 – I can.6 – I\’d feel guilty if things got worse and I didn\’t do a damn thing about it.7 – It\’s easy.8 – It\’s free.9 – I have a secret. (Who I voted for.) I can keep that secret or tell others10 – No one else is going to do it for me.I vote because I truly believe that every vote counts, and if you want to make a difference you need to get out and exercise your right to vote. Too many people are apathetic towards the democratic nature of our/a country and don\’t vote, and then blame the elected leaders when things go wrong. I\’d rather ensure my voice is heard and vote for who I believe will do the best job rather than sit back and expect everything to work out. In an election that is bound to be extremely close every vote counts, so get out there and vote! Kudos to you for casting your vote!!
